The Foundation

The Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi Trieste Foundation was established pursuant to Legislative Decree 29 June 1996 n. 367; pursues as its goal the dissemination and development of the musical art and knowledge of music, opera and dance, the musical education of the community and, as far as it is concerned, the professional training of artistic cadres. For the pursuit of its goals, the Foundation directly provides for the management of the Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi owned by the Municipality of Trieste.
The President of the Foundation is the Mayor of Trieste.
