Newsletter Subscription – Information to the interested party on the processing of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 

Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on data protection (hereinafter “Regulation” or “GDPR”), in relation to the processing of his personal data, the undersigned Giuseppe Verdi Opera Theater Foundation of Trieste (hereinafter for brevity also referred to as “Owner”), whose identity and contact details are indicated below,

Informs you of the following.

  1. Identity and contact details of the data controller.
    Data controller pursuant to articles 4 and 24 of the Regulation is the Giuseppe Verdi Opera Theater Foundation of Trieste, with headquarters in Riva Tre November n. 1, Trieste, telephone: 0406722331, e-mail: [email protected]; PEC: [email protected]. You can contact the Data Controller by writing to the aforementioned address or by sending an e-mail to the aforementioned e-mail address.
  2. Identity and contact details of the data protection officer.
    The data protection officer (“DPO”) pursuant to art. 37 of the Regulation can be contacted at the following certified e-mail address: [email protected].
  3. Purpose of the processing for which the data are intended and legal basis for the processing
    The personal data directly provided by you or otherwise collected by the undersigned Data Controller will be processed exclusively for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter service managed by the Foundation for promotions and presentations of the theater seasons managed by the Teatro Verdi and to stay updated on the Foundation’s activities. The legal basis of the processing is the consent of the interested party pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a), cit. (“the interested party has given his consent to the processing of his personal data for one or more specific purposes”).
  4. Methods of data processing.
    The processing of your personal data may be carried out with the aid of electronic or automated means and, in particular, through databases and databases owned by the writer (or in use by the writer), with methods and procedures strictly necessary for the pursuit of the purposes described above. In relation to the aforementioned purposes, the processing of your personal data will take place using manual, computerized and telematic tools for the mere realization of the purposes themselves and, in any case, in order to guarantee their security and confidentiality.
  5. Any recipients and any categories of recipients of personal data.
    Personal data may be communicated for the purposes specified above to subjects who carry out activities necessary for the provision of the services offered by the Website (by way of example, the analysis of the functioning of the Website itself) who will process the data as managers (art. 28 of the Regulation) and/or as authorized persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller and the Data Processor (art. 29 of the Regulation) or as subjects expressly designated to process data in the terms established by the GDPR such as, for example, suppliers of IT and/or archiving services or other services of a technical/organisational nature or employees and collaborators used by the Data Controller.
  6. Transfer of personal data to a third country or to an international organisation.
    No personal data of the interested party will be transferred to a third country outside the European Union or to international organisations.
  7. Period of retention of personal data.
    The personal data being processed will be stored in compliance with the provisions of art. 5, paragraph 1, lett. e), GDPR in a form that allows the identification of the interested parties for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the aforementioned purposes for which the personal data are processed. The personal data provided will be used for the sole purpose of providing the requested service and will be kept exclusively for the period in which it will be active. At the end of the retention period, the data you provide will be deleted, or made anonymous.
  8. Rights of the interested party.
    Pursuant to the articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, the interested party has the right to ask the Data Controller:
    • access to his personal data;
    • the rectification or cancellation of the same or the limitation of their processing;
    • the opposition to the processing;
    • the portability of data in the terms of art. 20 GDPR;
    • if the treatment is based on article 6, paragraph 1, letter a), or on article 9, paragraph 2, letter a), cited. the
    • withdrawal of consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.

      Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial appeal, the interested party who considers that the processing that concerns him violates the GDPR has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, especially in the Member State in which he habitually resides, works or of the place where the alleged violation has occurred pursuant to art. 77 quoted. (the Italian supervisory authority is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data). To exercise the above rights, the interested party may contact the Data Controller at the addresses indicated in point 1 of this information.
  9. Whether the communication of personal data is a legal or contractual obligation or a necessary requirement for the conclusion of a contract, and whether the data subject is obliged to provide personal data as well as the possible consequences of not communicating such data.
    The communication of personal data on your part and the consequent processing by the writer are necessary for subscribing to the newsletter service. Failure to communicate will make it impossible to subscribe to the newsletter edited by the Foundation.
  10. Existence of an automated decision-making process, including profiling.
    Pursuant to art. 13, paragraph 2, letter f) of the GDPR, we inform you that the personal data collected will not be subject to any automated decision-making process, including the profiling pursuant to art. 22, paragraphs 1 and 4 of the Regulation.
  11. Processing of personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected.
    If the Data Controller intends to further process personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, before such further processing, he will provide the interested party with information regarding this different purpose and any further pertinent information referred to in art. 13, paragraph 2 of the Regulation.

    To stop receiving the newsletter, please send an e-mail to the e-mail address indicated above with the subject “Unsubscribe newsletter”.
