Cookies
This information is intended to describe the site’s management methods with reference to the use of cookies and the related processing of personal data of users who consult it.

Cookies are small pieces of data that allow us to compare new and past visitors and to understand how users navigate through our site.

On the basis of the purposes pursued by those who use them, two macro-categories are therefore identified: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.

Depending on the subject who installs the cookies on the user’s terminal, a distinction is made between the manager of the site that the user is visiting (“publisher”) and other subjects who install cookies through the former (“third parties”).

Type of cookies used for the purpose of the treatment
Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, we can distinguish different categories:

Technical cookies (analysis and performance)
These are cookies used to collect and analyse traffic and use of the site anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow to monitor the system and improve the performance and the usability. The deactivation of these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality.

Third party cookies
By visiting a website you can receive cookies both from the site visited (“owners”) and from sites managed by other organisations (“third parties”). An example are the “social plugins” connected to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram or LinkedIn. These are parts of the visited page generated (totally or in part) by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks.

The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relative information to which reference is made. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, the web addresses of the various information and methods for managing cookies are shown below.

Cookies duration
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed.  Other cookies “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available in subsequent visits by the user.

These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. Browsing the pages of the website you can interact with websites managed by third parties that can create or modify persistent and profiling cookies. For details regarding the duration of individual cookies, you can refer to the previous tables.

Cookie management
The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies using the settings of his browser (defining different criteria for each individual site, if desired). The total or partial disabling of technical cookies does not compromise the use of the website’s functions.
